Welcome! We are a unique program that invites students traveling abroad to delve into the world of social entrepreneurship. In the process of writing 2-3 blog posts per semester, students will interview specialists and gain insights into local sustainable business practices.

    Hi everyone! I'm a junior concentrating in Sustainable Business and Finance with a second major in History. I've lived in California, Shanghai, and now Massachusetts. As a result, I am passionate about giving back to various communities, which has led me to join Net Impact where I have connected others also passionate about key ESG issues.     Hi! My name is Savva and I’m a junior at NYU Stern, double concentrating in Finance and Sustainable Business with a specialization in Real Estate. I was born in Finland and completed my middle and high school education in the UK where, early on, my dad showed me the importance of doing good in business.     • Opportunity for all abroad students to remain involved in the Net Impact community

    • Program where you write 400-500 word blog posts exploring stories at the intersection of sustainability and business (approx 2-3 per semester)

    • Engaging narrative with a required interview aspect (not just Q&A, emphasize storytelling)

    • Demonstrate involvement with Net Impact

    • Apply hard skills learned at Stern through creative qualitative analysis

    • Publish work to get name out

    • Expand writing portfolio

    • Prospective study abroad students interested in learning more about global experiences
